Early March 2020 saw Steve, Ross and Liam giving a series of 6 talks to over 70 pupils at Eastwood High, Newton Mearns. The presentation covered: distractions, reaction times, young driver insurance and observation (and observation links).
The presentations were incredibly well received by both students and teachers, with some of the staff even asking how they could go about gaining an advanced driving qualification, while for the students we showed the harsh reality of what “a quick text” can do.
Before the COVID restrictions Eastwood High asked us to go back to deliver the presentation to even more classes – we hope to be able to do this after the restrictions have lifted.
We know these visits gave the pupils a really good start to being better drivers.
